IC Design Engineer (4302)

Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ADI) designs and manufactures semiconductor products and solutions. We enable our customers to interpret the world around us by intelligently bridging the physical and digital worlds with unmatched technologies that sense, measure and connect.
The candidate is responsible for the development of RF and microwave GaAs and GaN MMIC amplifiers. Tasks include process technology selection, schematic generation and simulation, layout including parasitic extraction and EM simulation, package specification, presentation of design reviews with complete documentation, test plan preparation and data sheet guidance. The candidate will contribute to product definition, initial characterization and qualification support. Customer engagement is encouraged. Experience with MMIC design and familiarity with industry standard EDA tools like Cadence, Momentum and ADS are required.
Design and development of GaAs and GaN MMIC LNA, DA, PA
- Process selection, model verification
- Electrical and physical design
- EM extraction and simulation
- Thermal extraction and simulation
- Host design reviews
- Customer exposure
- Design evaluation
Troubleshooting and design backfit
* MSEE degree with more than 3 years MMIC design experience or equivalent
* Relevant experience in RF and microwave IC design.
* EDA tools: Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys
* Device physics,
* MMIC amplifier design experience
* Teamwork and Communication skills.
