Dear All,

The Purdue student chapters of the Optical Society of America and Society for optics and Photonics (OSA/SPIE), and the Nanotechnology Student Advisory Council (NSAC) cordially invite you to attend the 2nd annual conference on "Micro & Nanoscale Science for Addressing Grand Challenges” on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at the Birck Nanotechnology Center.

The conference will highlight works from a wide span of research areas conducted at Purdue University, including:  Nano Photonics, MEMS, Life Science, and Thermal Engineering. There will be various talks in each area, given by invited Purdue students and post-docs. The talks will be followed by a poster session, showcasing projects from various departments at Purdue University.

The conference will also include free breakfast, lunch, as well as a closing banquet featuring a professional development seminar “How to present like a CEO” by Prof. Dimitrios Peroulis - all held at the Birck Nanotechnology Center.

We hope you will be able to attend this conference and use this opportunity to learn about the challenges and opportunities in several research fields as well network with other students, post-docs and faculty members.
