February 16-19 is Purdue's Fulbright Week in which we begin preparing students who are U.S. citizens to apply for AY 2016-17 Fulbright grants. 51% of Fulbright U.S. Student grants for research or study in one of over 130 different countries are awarded to students enrolled in a graduate program.

Fulbright Week Events include general information session for those who need an overview of the program, information sessions and callouts about applying for specific types of Fulbright grants, and a mixer to network with international students here at Purdue on a Fulbright who may be able to tell them about options in their countries.


Fulbright Week
Purdue's Fulbright Week will start you on your way to applying for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Fulbright U.S. Student Program grants offer over 1,900 fully funded opportunities for U.S. citizens to study, research, or teach abroad.

This overview introduces the Fulbright Program and tells you how it can fit into your long term goals. The session is geared to all, from freshmen to graduate students.
Research and Study Grants
Juniors, Seniors and graduate students. Conduct independent research abroad or study at an academic institution in a foreign country. Join us to learn more about applying for Fulbright Program academic grants for 2016-17.
English Teaching Assistant Program
Juniors, Seniors and graduate students. Excited by the prospect of teaching English to non-native English speakers? Join us to learn more about applying for K-12 to university level classroom experiences throughout the world in 2016-17.
Meet and Mix with International Fulbright Students on Campus
All students, undergraduate and graduate, curious about the Fulbright US Student Program, join us for this fun and informative event. Students attending Purdue from around the world on a Fulbright look forward to sharing their experiences and talking about their home countries over drinks and snacks.
