Overview of Group's Research and Birck Strategic Plan
Abstract: Research in nanoscale heat transport and thermal characterization will be presented. This will include phonon hydrodynamics, self-healing electromigration structures, and far-field sub-diffraction thermal imaging. Will give a brief overview of nano manufacturing preeminent team, SMART film industry consortium and Wabash Heartland Innovation Network (WHIN). In the second part of the talk, some ideas from Birck Strategic Plan will be presented. These include: helping multi-disciplinary teams excel, develop new centers, help create a local high tech ecosystem and advanced Birck design.
