Dear Faculty,

Recently a group of staff was assembled to improve our recharge process.  The result of that meeting follows and with your help, will achieve our goal of reducing our recharge processing time from 3 months to 1 month.

Each month:
1.       By the 5th the approval process will begin.
2.       By the 17th, we would appreciate you or your designee returning the report with changes and approvals.
3.       By the end of the month, upload complete.

I also wanted to let you know that other improvements are happening:
1.       A review of Coral to purge old students, expired grants, old projects. (we may need your help)
2.       Establishing a Birck email account that anyone can send questions for answers (bnc-recharge at purdue.edu<mailto:bnc-recharge at purdue.edu>)
3.       Establish a Recharge Training Class to be conducted here in Birck.

With your help and us working together, this can be very successful!  More to come!
