Subject: [Bnc-facility-notice] NOTICE - Interruption to Cleanroom Humidity Control

Dear BNC Cleanroom Users,

On Wednesday February 26, 2020 starting at 7:30AM Purdue Physical Facility Department needs to shut down the medium pressure steam to the cleanroom humidification units for about 8 hours to make needed steam piping modification.

If the outside weather is below normal conditions the cleanroom relative  humidity levels can drop to 10% to 15% (normal humidity level is 45%), which will substantially increase electrostatic discharge when handling electronics devices in the cleanroom.
