[Bnc-facility-notice] BNC Fire Alarm Testing Friday Dec 6, 2019 From 5AM to 7AM

Dear BNC Users,

The Birck Nanotechnology Center will be performing fire alarm test on December 6, 2019 from 5AM to 7AM.

Due to construction changes to the Center Purdue Fire Equipment Services (FES) will need to complete a building wide fire alarm test.  This will involve all fire horns sounding and strobe lights flashing as if we were having a fire alarm.

On December 6, 2019 at 5AM FES will make 2 announcements over the building wide public address system informing everyone in the center about the fire testing and not to evacuate the building.  One announcement will be made 5 minutes before fire testing begins and a second announcement just before activating all fire horns and strobes.

Once the fire test is complete then a final announcement will be made over the building wide public address system informing everyone in the center that the fire alarm testing is complete and to evacuate the building on future alarms.
