[Bnc-facility-notice] NOTICE - Discover Park Steam Distribution Shutdown

To all BNC users and occupants:

Due to issues out of our control Purdue Utilities Department requires a steam shutdown for Discovery Park starting on May 16th at 1PM lasting until May 17th at 1AM.

Steam is used in our building to re-heat air temperature to maintain ambient set points for offices, laboratories, and cleanroom.   The steam shutdown may affect ambient space temperatures, making them as much as 10°F to 15°F degrees colder depending on heat loads in the area.

Please secure all research that is sensitive to ambient temperature changes during this period of time.

Utility Shutdown Notice: The shutdown is to make general system repairs and repair the FOOD pit leak.

Date/Time of Shutdown: May 16, 2013 starting at 1:00 pm for a 12 hour duration. FOOD and BSG will extend to 5:00 pm May 17.
