We’re very pleased to announce that a new Sr. Safety Engineer, Mr. Christian Bokrand, has joined our engineering team effective August 11.  He will have responsibilities for Birck safety as well as advanced packaging process development.  Christian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Engineering, both from Florida Gulf Coast University.  He most recently was a section manager at XFAB, a semiconductor foundry in Lubbock Texas, where he was responsible for designing, developing, implementing and sustaining manufacturing fab processes to support operations and continuous improvement.  Prior to this he was a Research Laboratory Manager at Florida Gulf Coast University managing daily lab operations and lab safety, including being the lab safety officer.

Christian’s office is in Birck 2287 and he can be reached at cbokrand at purdue.edu, Ph: 6-7367.  Please join me in welcoming Christian to the team!
