Dear BNC User -

We have a virtual teams meeting planned for this coming Friday at 9:30AM to 10:30AM (Teams Meeting Invite Below) to review the details for the 2 critical power outages planned for October 14 and October 15.  In the attached email NOTICE sent out on 8/22/24 to BNC all  users the following information what was provided.

Due to the BRK Modernization Infrastructure Project two major electrical interruption are required. First will be Monday October 16 @ 8AM for 8 hours all center HVAC systems in the center will be powered off.  The cleanroom and all general laboratories ambient temperatures and laminar air flow will be off during this time (including QDF cleanroom).  Second involves ALL RESEARCH TOOLS IN THE CENTER to be power off on Tuesday October 15 @ 8AM for 8 hours, and research tool power will be restored the same day.  Research tools on UPS power should not see any loss of power during this time.

Please plan to attend if you have any questions about what to expect in your labs or with research tools inside the Birck Nanotechnology center.
