Users and Faculty,

It has come to my attention that both wipes and chemicals are being used at an inordinate rate. 1 gallon of Remover PG was place in use last Monday and by the end of the week there was less than a ¼ bottle left. A bottle usually lasts a month or more, the same for MF 26A. Please be aware of the amount needed for processing. These chemicals are expensive and sometimes difficult to get. In addition we are currently using cleanroom wipes (3000) per week. On a number of occasions I have seen 1-2 inch thick stack discarded into the trash unused. Each of these are $.20 ea. If this continues we will drive up the cost of cleanroom access and run into chemical shortages. Please be aware of what you're are using.

This also extends to cleanroom garments. A staff member observed a student take of his cleanroom garments and deposit into the dirty laundry. Asked if he would be back in that afternoon he said yes. This is totally unacceptable. We are on the edge with supplies at it is and this type of behavior will result in increased cost and shortage of garments for users.
