Hello All -

The NSF I-Corps hub at Great Lakes Region is offering an online workshop this summer (May 12- June 30) that will help teams explore the commercial viability of their nanotechnology and advanced materials innovations. The applications of nanotech and advanced materials can span various industries including automotive, aerospace, electronics, education, energy, defense, sports, construction, healthcare, biomedical, agriculture, food, textiles, and many more.

More details about the course: Nano and advanced materials I-Corps course<https://www.greatlakesicorps.org/event/nanotech-and-advanced-materials-jumpstart-regional-i-corps-course-summer-2023/>

Participation in I-Corps courses can significantly increase the chances of securing federal proof of concept & commercialization grants like SBIR/STTR, and PFI-TT that range from $550k to $1.6 million. The historical success rate for Purdue Faculty, who complete the NSF I-corps National workshops, and apply for these competitive NSF research commercialization grants is over 90%.

I am happy to meet with teams interested in applying and would like more information. Please reach out to me at gpradhan at purdue.edu<mailto:gpradhan at purdue.edu>.

Thanks,

Geetali
