*SEM training and assistance:*



*The Birck Nanotechnology Center is looking for a Grad student with some
electron microscopy knowledge to assist 20 hrs a week with the SEMs at BNC
- Hitachi S4800 FESEM and TFS Apreo FESEM  in the clean room.*



*The responsibilities will be:*

*1.       **Provide SEM analysis services - imaging and EDX
chemical analysis - to BNC and industrial  users using both the Hitachi
S4800 and TFS Apreo FE-SEM*

*2.    Manage the reception of samples and analysis instructions
from Birck users *

*3.       **Training new users in both the SEMs Hitachi S-4800 and TFS
Apreo*

*4.    Manage the training and services request for both SEMs in Ilab*

*4.       **Training new users in SPI sputter coater*



*The candidate will be trained in all these techniques by a staff member. *
