Dear Fellow Scientists,

Recent advances in cell biology, microfabrication and microfluidics have enabled the development of microengineered and controlled models of the functional units of human organs — known as organs-on-a-chip. The new 3D3C workshop on organ-on-a-chip is scheduled for April 5 & 6 2018. The workshop will include a lecture, classroom exercises, demonstrations and hands-on practical covering the basic setup and modern approaches for the design of organ-on-a-chip. It will encompass aspects of substrates used in organs-on-a-chip, microfluidic systems, culture surface geometry and biosensors. For details, please refer to the attached pamphlet. The workshop is opened for enrollment and the deadline for registration is March 19, 2018. If you are interested, please contact me.

Sincerely,
