Holiday
Purdue University will be closed Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Purdue University will also be closed Thursday, December 24th through Sunday, January 3rd in observance of the winter recess. Please plan ahead.

Materials Management and Distribution Services/ Surplus Store Holiday Recess Schedules
Materials Management and Distribution Services, which includes Purdue's Surplus Store, will shut down for Thanksgiving vacation November 26 and 27, returning to normal hours of operation on Monday, November 30. Please make sure to drop off any outgoing packages to MMDC no later than 4pm on Wednesday, November 25.

Beginning December 24, 2015 through January 3, 2016, there will be no mail delivery; Purdue University's normal operations will shut down, virtually. Please make sure to drop off outgoing packages to MMDC no later than 4pm on Wednesday, December 23. Normal operations will resume on Monday, January 4.

If you have FedEx or UPS packages that need to go out during this time, you will have to process them online and call FedEx or UPS directly to schedule a pickup.

Kitchen
Due to the holiday the kitchen refrigerator will be cleaned out this next Monday Nov 23.
Please make sure your items are labeled with date and name.
Anything I deem old will be trashed container and all.

Waxing
We are going to try and finish up stripping and waxing the hallways in Birck before the snow comes.  After Thanksgiving, we will be working on the 2nd floor east wing hallways.  If you have an office, you will not be able to have access to your office until 10:00AM that day.  If you need access to a lab, please remember you can use the galley doors for access.  Below is the schedule:

Monday  Nov 30st- BRK 2072-2087
Tuesday Dec 1st- BRK 2019-2027
Wednesday Dec 2nd - BRK 2069  (back hallway, east stairwell will be closed)
Thursday Dec 3rd- BRK 2031 - 2050
