New BNC Ice Machine

A new ice machine has been installed in the second floor east galley.  This produces ice for experimental purposes only.  Please note:  THE ICE FROM THIS MACHINE IS NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.  If you have need for ice for experiments please help yourself.

VB-6

The VB-6 continues to have video issues.  Vistec has removed a complete crate from another VB at a different site and has shipped it here.  The field service engineer will begin the installation today (Friday) and continue working through the weekend.  This represents a major push to solve the problem, and we should have the VB-6 back up next week.

All-User Meetings

Thanks to all who attended one of the all-user meetings last week.  The total attendance was 373.  If for some reason you didn't get to one of the three sessions, please see Mary Jo Totten for further instructions.
