[BNC-all] Joint Chemistry-Birck Seminar 3/16; BNC E-News

Dear All,

This Friday, March 16th, we are hosting the first of joint seminars with various departments around campus. The goal is to increase interactions between BNC resident researchers and various academic units. I would like to encourage everybody to attend these seminars and help us increase our interdisciplinary collaborations.

Professor Prashant Kamat from University of Notre Dame is the speaker and he is going to talk about "Designing Next Generation Solar Cells with Quantum Dot Architectures." This is on March 16th at 3:30pm in BRK 2001, with refreshments/snacks prior at 3:00pm.  Dr. Kamat has published 400+ peer-reviewed papers, reviews, and edited books on nanoscale materials. He is Deputy Editor of the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters and Advisory board member of Langmuir, Research on Chemical Intermediates, Journal of Applied Electrochemistry, and Interface.
