NanoDays, our annual event for K-12 students, will be held on April 26-27, 2012 from 9 am - 3 pm. The event is part of a national initiative to teach key concepts of nanoscale science and engineering. Our third annual NanoDays will bring over 1700students to Discovery Park, more than 2x last year's total. However, we still need volunteers to help with activities and other duties!

The bad news: As of today, we only have approximately 15% of Birck students registered to volunteer.

The good news: There is still time to volunteer to help! Please register for as much time as you can commit by Tuesday, April 17, 2012 via the NanoDays website (link on on the left side). Here, you will also be able to find out more about the event.

The best news: All volunteers will receive a free lunch and a t-shirt!

If you are planning to help with the event, but have not registered yet, please do so by Tuesday so that we can provide you with a t-shirt for the event.

What are you waiting for? Please sign up today. Tell your friends to join you! NanoDays is an experience you will be proud to be a part of, especially knowing that you might be impacting the next generation of nanoscientists and engineers!

With best regards,
