[BNC-all] Fire Alarm System Work Friday 9:00 AM

IMPORTANT!

 

Fire Equipment Services will be in BNC on Friday (24Aug07) morning at 9:00
AM to repair an issue with the fire alarm system.  Their work has the
possibility of setting off the fire alarm, and when they have completed
their work they will be testing the system.  This test will result in an
alarm being sounded for a very short time.

 

An announcement will be made over the PA system before the work on the panel
begins and again before the test.  IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO EVACUATE THE
BUILDING IF AN ALARM SOUNDS AFTER THIS ANNOUNCEMENT HAS BEEN MADE.  When the
work is complete and the test finished, a further announcement will be made
that the system has returned to normal operation.  Should an alarm sound
after this announcement, it should be treated as a real alarm.

 

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this repair that should
minimize the chance of false alarms.
