Skype for Business

Starting October 26, you will need to sign into your Lync client using username@purdue.edu and your career account password instead of onepurdue\username.

This is because Purdue's Lync server is moving to Office 365. Unfortunately your existing contact list will not transfer to the new server, but you will still be able to use the same client.

If you plan to continue using the Lync client past this date, we suggest that you take a screenshot of your contact list.

To activate your Office 365 account, go to https://www.purdue.edu/apps/account/Office365Status. If you previously created an Office 365 account with your Purdue e-mail address, you can coordinate it with your career account.

Note: Due to an ongoing rebranding effort, the names Lync and Skype for Business refer to the same software.
