ECN: Site Specialists

The Engineering Computer Network's services encompass the ten Schools of Engineering. Through the site specialists, the ECN is better able to assist each school with their individual needs. Site specialists serve as a liaison between their school and the ECN.

Each School of Engineering's site specialist provides the services of the ECN on a smaller, more personalized scale. They assist new users with their accounts and the available software. Site specialists monitor equipment for high load levels so that user errors, such as being logged on twice, forgetting to log off, or accidentally deleting needed files, are intercepted and corrected.
