ECN Mac software available for install

This document is intended to inform ECN users of software potentially available to users of Purdue owned Macintosh computers.

The software specifically listed is software available for free, or purchased through departments or the university, and therefore available for installation per terms of license agreements.

Any software not listed below, is either not "freely" available or if free, has not been evaluated by ECN.

Adobe Acrobat(for editing creating, and/or merging PDF files)

Alertus(Campus emergency alert system for computers)

Citrix Receiver(For connecting to GoRemote software servers)

Cisco VPN connection client(for establishing a secure VPN connection to campus)

Firefox (web browser)

Google Chrome (web browser)

Microsoft Office 2011, and 2016

Skype (text/audio/video chat client)

Optional installations:

Adobe Creative Cloud ($220 for 3 year term ending January 2020)(Cost currently covered by Deans of each area supported by ECN). A request is needed to ECN from "user" to have a creative cloud account created for download/installation.
