ECN Accounts: Finding Your ECN Password

Your ECN account usually has the same password as your career account password. If you are not sure of what your career account password is, please follow ITaP's directions for getting your career account password reset.  You can also contact ECN via the Trouble Report page or by emailing helpdesk@ecn.purdue.edu or your site specialist.

REMEMBER, IF YOU CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD ON ANY OF YOUR ITaP OR ECN ACCOUNTS, THE PASSWORD WILL BE REPLACED ON ALL OF YOUR ITaP AND ECN ACCOUNTS!!!

How to standardize your password on all of your computer accounts at Purdue

To make sure that you can login on your ECN account with your career account password, you can "synchronize" your accounts. That means you can force your password to change on all of the computer accounts you have on campus. Most accounts are already synchronized, but if yours are not, go to the SecurePurdue web page and click on "Change Your Password."  Following the instructions on this page changes the password associated with your login. The password on all of your accounts may take up to 20 minutes to propagate to all servers on campus, including ECN machines. Now you can try login to your ECN Account with this new password.
