ECN Support: Blocked E-Mail

Occasionally, when e-mail is relayed to an ECN mail server, the mail may be classified as having suspicious or spammy text in the message. Mail is passed through two programs, one that looks for computer viruses, trojans or malicious content; and one that looks for content that may identify as unsolicited messages. In an effort to reduce the amount of unwanted messages in general, ECN may block incoming messages.

When problems with mail delivery do arise and the solution isn't obvious, please let us know by filling out a Trouble Report at:
http://eng.purdue.edu/ECN/ContactUs

If you are unsure of what organization and department to choose, please use Engineering as the organization, and Engineering Computer Network as the department.
Please include as much information as possible. We may ask for additional information such as your message headers, and might also need to discuss mail delivery options with your IT staff.
