Mr. Fred C. Kemmerer is an experienced telecommunications executive with a broad background in a variety of communications technologies including Wireless, VoIP, IP Switching and Routing, Next Generation Core Networks, and Broadband Access. As the Chief Technology Officer for GENBAND, Mr. Kemmerer is responsible for setting the technology strategy and direction for the company.

Prior to GENBAND, Mr. Kemmerer held a broad range of positions at Lucent and then Alcatel-Lucent. Mr. Kemmerer held the position of Vice President of Strategy and Business Development where he led strategic and portfolio planning for the company. Mr. Kemmerer also held the position of Chief Technical Officer for the Wireline Business at Lucent. Prior to that, Mr. Kemmerer held key general manager positions across various data networking divisions and leadership positions in the development of fixed and mobile communications technologies.

Mr. Fred Kemmerer holds a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
