Academic Assistance

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers help rooms for three sophomore level ECE courses and also maintains a tutor bank with additional course offerings. More information about these resources can be found below.

Students are also encouraged to utilize Purdue's Academic Success Center, which is committed to improving student success through resources such as one-on-one tutoring, group study sessions, workshops, academic strategy sessions (time-management, studying, test-taking), and classes.

ECE Help Rooms

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers free Help Rooms for ECE 20100, ECE 20200, and ECE 25500. Students should ask their TA or instructor for additional information on these resources.

ECE Tutoring Program

The ECE Tutoring Program will be operating on a virtual basis this semester for some ECE, math and physics courses this semester.  ECE students can get free tutoring from fellow ECE students on courses including ECE20100, 20001, 20200, 20002, 20007, 20875, 26400, 27000, 36800, 36200, 30100, 30200, 36900, 33700, 43700 as well as a few math and physics courses.  Tutoring sessions will all be handled through a virtual platform such as Zoom or Teams, and are not to be handled in person.  Tutors will have their availability visible in BoilerConnect mid to late this week.  If there are courses you need a tutor for (ECE only) and you do not see it on the list, please email Jamie Seakeek (jseakeek@purdue.edu) and we will work on adding more tutors as the need arises. 

ECE Project Lab

If you're working on an ECE project, visit the ECE Project Lab in EE 162. There are free components available and friendly staff on hand to help you with your work. It's open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
