Volunteering Opportunity for Students

Author: Danielle Shively

On Saturday, February 7th, the regional MathCounts competition will be hosted here at Purdue. In addition to this, on March 14 (Saturday) the state contest will be held here at Purdue. MathCounts is an annual math competition for middle school students. This is a great opportunity to get involved on campus by volunteering.  Volunteers will be needed to set up the competition, grade the tests, and guide the middle school students around campus.

If you are interested in volunteering for either date, or both dates, please contact the Purdue Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE) at pspe@ecn.purdue.edu. The time commitment is from about 9AM-12:30PM.

All volunteers (we need at least 60 volunteers for both events) will receive a free breakfast in the morning as well as $7 for lunch at the Villa or Pappy's.
Volunteers do not have to be members of PSPE or engineering students, so please tell your friends!
