The Sr. Android Engineer, Business Technology Capabilities is a native Android expert for Sallie Mae with an ability to design, architect and support native Applications to deliver a world class experience to our customer base.

In addition to Android development, you must be willing to contribute to our iOS apps initially in a backup capacity. As we move forward we want to develop a team that is proficient in both iOS and Android native development.

Education:

·         MS or BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent in work experience

Experience:

·         7+ years software development experience

·         3+ years Native Android Experience

·         5+ years of Java experience

·         3+ years' experience with Android Studio

·         4+ years writing and consuming web services

·         3+ years' experience with Agile development
