Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)

Motivated and talented students are invited to apply for paid summer research internships to gain hands-on research experience in stimulating the spread of malware on smartphones, implementing cryptographic algorithms and authentication schemes for smartphones, studying topology control of wireless networks, geolocating smartphones, detecting physical attack on a network of smartphones, and developing privacy-protected medical sensing methods using smartphones. This opportunity is open to only ten students and since the selection process is very competitive students are advised to obtain letters of recommendation from their professors early on.
