Marketing EDGE & Google Team Up to Offer STEM Students an Exclusive Career Exploration Program

Author: Cindy Quillen

Marketing EDGE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, developing, growing, and employing college students in the field of marketing.

I am thrilled to announce that Marketing EDGE and Google are currently recruiting high achieving students from various fields of study for our Interactive Marketing Analytics Xperience (I-MAX) program.

I-MAX offers a select group of college students nationwide an opportunity to learn about Big Data, how it’s transforming marketing, and how those changes are creating new and exciting careers.  During the program, students will learn about the abundance of data available to marketers and the opportunities and challenges this presents.  Participants will also meet and network with professionals who are at the forefront of the data revolution.  Presenters, mostly Google executives, will share information about what they do and provide advice on how to prepare for a successful career in marketing—a field that is increasingly data-driven.

Our upcoming I-MAX program will take place on Google’s Mountain View campus from August 1-5, 2015.

The Age of Big Data is projected to create a great many jobs and students with superior analytical skills will have numerous career options in the marketplace today.  I hope you will share this opportunity with your students as we would love to have some of them apply for our 2015 I-MAX program.
