Course in Applied Anthropology to be offered in Spring 2016

Applied Anthropology is to be offered in Spring 2016 called “Anthropology 592: Discovery and Design: Using Anthropology to Make Projects Work” and replaces an earlier design course which was quite popular with both anthropology and engineering students.
This is a redesigned course, and it will be even more interesting now for any of your students intending to do community-level projects here or overseas. A syllabus is attached.
Although this is a graduate course, upper-level undergraduates are allowed to enroll, and we encourage students from engineering, technology and agriculture to take the class, since the deparment has found that they both contribute to, and gain a great deal from, the course. Overall class size is limited, however, to 20.
