We are excited to announce that Amazon will be on campus for a full day of recruiting events at Purdue on Thursday, September 29th!
Amazon will be hosting a list of activities throughout the day. Technical business representatives and recruiters will be serving refreshments from Panera, Jimmy Johns & HotBox Pizza, giving out Amazon swag, collecting resumes, and our business partners answering questions about what it is like to work for Amazon! Additionally, we will be raffling off $25 Amazon gift card every hour, and a $100 Amazon gift card will be raffled off following our evening tech talk.
10:00am – 4:00pm: Amazon Meet & Greet in Lawson Commons
Amazon software development engineers and cloud support associates from our Kindle Content Platform, Search and Discovery Customer, and AWS teams will be in attendance throughout the day to speak with students about technical fulltime and internship opportunities with Amazon. We’ll be raffling off Amazon products and gift cards throughout the day!
6:00pm – 8:00pm: Amazon Tech Talk and Networking Social in Lawson Commons
Arvind Karuppasamy, Senior Software Development Engineer from the Kindle Content Platform, will be speaking to students about Managing Complexity at Scale – Lessons from Building Large Scale Distributed Systems. A networking social with Amazon engineers and recruiters will take place immediately after the presentation. A $100 Amazon gift card will be raffled off following our evening tech talk.
