We have openings in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UCLA with a search primarily focused on tenure-track assistant professors.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a related discipline with a strong commitment both to research and teaching and an outstanding record of research.

Though we are looking for outstanding candidates in all areas, our primary focus is on the following topics with an emphasis on overall originality and innovation.

(i) Modern computer architectures, including use of novel devices for new architectures, novel architectures for security and other applications as well as its implementation on chips.
(ii) Embedded systems/platforms for IoT/wireless.
(iii) Control of cyber-physical systems including new applications in health, energy, transportation, smart cities, IoT, robotics, data science, network science, socio-technical systems, etc.
(iv) Computational imaging/photography including applications in medical sciences, signal processing and learning for computer vision, statistical learning and large-scale data sciences.
