I am pleased to mention that we have opened up two new tenure-rack faculty searches at the University of Houston’s ECE department. One of these is at the Assistant Professor level, and the other is at the Assistant/Associate level. 

 

Both positions are welcoming to all areas of research, and we are looking for the most meritorious candidates. Houston is home to the world’s largest medical center, and is the epicenter of the energy industry. We also have large footprint in nano science, high-performance computing, and imaging. The department provides an excellent nurturing environment for young faculty members, including excellent startup packages, low teaching loads, and comprehensive mentoring programs. There is a brand new building under construction, so the opportunity for starting a successful career is excellent.
