On behalf of the URI Big-Data Cluster Hire Search Committee, we would like to invite PhD students, recent PhD graduates, and Postdocs from your department to apply for the tenure track assistant professor position at the University of Rhode Island.

This position is part of the University's interdisciplinary initiative to hire a cluster of tenure-track faculty members who will apply or develop data- and computation-intensive methodology and systems across the University through interdisciplinary research and teaching. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in big data-related research, including but not limited to computer architecture, networking, security, storage, embedded systems, high-performance and cloud computing, parallel and distributed computing. Review of applications will begin on December 8, 2015 and continue until the position is filled. Applications received before January 5, 2016 will be given full consideration.
