This is an internship opportunity at the California office of Curtis Instruments. We're looking for hardware and software interns to join our engineering team.

Curtis is a leading manufacturer of motor controllers and other equipment for the EV industry. The California engineering office serves as the research, testing and design center for the motor controllers. 

We are currently offering hardware and software engineering internships. Through the internships, you will be mentored by engineers from different technical backgrounds who share passions for technology and solving challenging problems, in addition to a desire to make a tangible impact. You’ll have the opportunity to learn engineering best practices and own projects from start to finish with teams that specialize in embedded design(hw/sw), motor/vehicle control, applications development, automated testing, data analysis/visualizations. There are 4-5 internships positions available.

Internship Program

• 10-12 week summer paid internship program

• Full project ownership and the autonomy to build impactful products Requirements(depends on specific program of internship) 

• Command of one or more programming language in C++, C# or Python • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures

• Experience with embedded systems, controls and/or power electronics

• Pursuing a BS, MS or PhD degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering

• Shared passion for making the world a greener/cleaner place

•Graduation date between Dec 2018 and June 2020
