Recruiting Event with DownUnder Geosolutions on October 31

Priority: No
College Calendar: Show

DownUnder Geosolutions (DUG), a geophysical service company based in Houston, is hiring MS and PhD students with geophysics, physics, electrical engineering, or math degrees, or similar degrees with strong signal processing skills. They are mainly interested in students who are graduating in 2018. DUG offers a two-month paid internship (includes flight and accommodation) to start with in their Houston office. And potentially, this internship would lead to a full time job position based on the individual's performance. So they can come in for an internship, return back to the university for another year.

The HR assistant manager, Ms. Phoebe Goh, and Purdue Alumnus, Ali Bakir, will be visiting Purdue University Earth Sciences on Oct 31st to do a recruiting event. During this event, they will give a talk about the company and the available job opportunities, answer questions, then collect resumes from students. There will also be pizza provided for attendees. The next day, Nov 1, in the morning Ms. Goh will have interview sections available for students who are interested in an on-site interview.
