Part-time Software Engineer for Fall Semester

SensorHound Innovations LLC (www.sensorhound.com) is looking for professionals and students (graduate/exceptional undergraduate) interested in developing innovative software for the Internet of Things. Candidates must be able to work 10 to 20 hours per week starting in September. The benefits include competitive pay and flexible work schedules.

SensorHound, a startup company located in the Purdue Research Park, is developing advanced debugging tools for a reliable Internet of Things. We are a small and dedicated team looking for self-motivated individuals. Candidates should have expertise in at least one of the following:

    - Highly proficient in C programming, experience in programming embedded systems, preferably sensor networks, a solid understanding of operating systems and compilers.
    - Experience in big data and cloud computing, should have experience with tools such as Hadoop MapReduce and NoSQL databases.
    - Experience with machine learning and data mining, experience with applying machine learning algorithms and tools such as Weka.
