New course offering for Spring 2019: ILS 69500--Data Sharing and Publication

3 credit hours, Spring 2019, Monday 8:30-9:20 (Lecture), 9:30-11:20 (Lab), WALC 3049 & 3045

This course will walk students through the process of preparing a data set for sharing with both internal and external audiences, in conjunction with their thesis deposit. 

• Work closely with your supervisor to determine an authoritative data set
• Create data documentation
• Apply metadata
• Choose a data sharing platform as appropriate for your project
