National Nuclear Security Administration Graduate Fellowship
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has an attractive graduate fellowship program for students in a wide variety of engineering -- not just nuclear engineering. Below are a few key points about the fellowship:
- for MS and Ph.D. students or recent graduates
- for US citizens who can obtain a security clearance
- GPA at least 3.2/4.0
- one-year fellowship (June 2019 – 2020)
- $52,000 stipend + small signing bonus
- can hold the fellowship before you finish a degree or can apply within 18 months after finishing the degree
- hold the fellowship at a national lab, in Washington, DC, or at another NNSA-related government agency
- about 50 fellows selected each year from 200+ applicants
- 96% of fellows last year received an offer from a government agency
- application deadline this year – October 3, 2018
