The *Midwest Big Data Hackathon* will be organized at the *University of Iowa* on *October 8-9, 2016*. Student developers, designers, and data enthusiasts of all kinds can collaborate on exciting projects looking at the opportunities around big data. The event will be free and open to students working or have interest to work in the area of *big data domains*.

*Travel support* will be provided for students traveling from Midwest states.
