Intel Computational Lithography Technology group

Job Description: Computational Lithography Technology group at Intel is seeking scientists and engineers to invent and support Intel’s march along Moore's Law. The individual will participate in image analysis, software performance optimization, parallel programming, computational geometry, research and development for creating new numerical models and algorithms for extracting even more resolution out of existing imaging technologies as well as supporting mission critical software in a production environment. The position requires working in a team with other scientists and engineers, and interfacing with a large technology development organization. Good communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail and results orientation are required.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

-  PhD degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline

Note: due to the multi-disciplinary nature of the work our team is comprised of world leading experts in fields ranging from Optics/Electromagnetism to Chemical Engineering and Robotics

- Demonstrated coding proficiency, preferably in C++

 

Preferred Qualifications

Background in one or more of the following areas:

- Signal Processing, Image Processing, Computer Vision

- Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Data Mining

- Parallel and Distributed Programming and Algorithms

- Optics & Electromagnetics Theory

- Numerical modeling

- Computational geometry

- Computational lithography methods

- Linear/Non-linear optimization

- Big data
