Position description

The Intel Custom Foundry (ICF) group is looking for a qualified candidate to join its Memory Technology and Architecture team as graduate intern. The position is for 6 months duration.  The key functions include

•        development and implementation of post-Si test strategies for embedded memory IP in ICF portfolio on test vehicles

•        working with product development teams to validate embedded memory IP characteristics

•        providing Silicon-based feedback to embedded memory IP design teams to improve design competitiveness

Required Credentials

•        Enrollment in PhD program in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering , design experience with memory technology development,  embedded memory compiler/IP design development, layout and logic design on advanced nodes below 28nm

•        Experience in memory design and characterization methodology development with working knowledge of design planning, memory circuit design, design modeling, extraction,  EDA views, DFT concepts and layout design across diversity of memory types

•        Experience in full custom and ASIC digital design logic verification, static timing analysis, margining for statistical phenomena,  optimization strategies for power/performance/area, reliability,  and integration at ASIC/full chip level is a plus

•        High levels of motivation and ability to deal with ambiguity

•        Strong analytical and problem solving skills

•        Experience in Automating Flows/Scripting with Unix shell, Perl and TCL

•        Ability to work in a tight schedule environment
