Full Time Hardware Engineer Position

Technicolor is seeking qualified candidates for full-time Hardware Engineer position. Candidate will be a member of the Technicolor - Connected Home, Americas Satellite product development group.  Candidate responsibilities will include development of hardware on next generation products and sustaining activities.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • General electrical engineering responsibilities
  • Analog & Digital circuit design generalist
  • Analyze system requirements for set top box applications; implement quality cost effective designs.
  • Audio/Video design familiarity a plus
  • Direct printed circuit board layout for signal integrity, transmission line impedance, EMI mitigation.
  • Verification of board design and implementation.
  • Cross-functional team member

Qualifications / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering (Masters preferred).
  • Experience with PCB simulation tools like SPICE, Hyperlynx, Polar, etc. is desired.
  • Familiar with High Speed Digital Design and Signal Integrity Verification: USB, SATA, DDR(1,2,3,4), Ethernet
  • Experience in Analog Design: DC to 100 MHz (low RF) a plus
  • Good teamwork skills needed
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to travel (USA and International) to customer and contract manufacturing sites.
  • Candidate  must be able to work in a high pace, high demanding environment which requires total commitment to work product quality, exceeding customer expectations, and highest level of team work.
