fMRI course in Psychology for Fall 16

Sent on behalf of Sebastien Helie:

I am very excited about the upcoming research-dedicated MRI facility that will open on campus for the Fall 2016 semester and, as such, will be offering a new hands-on graduate course on fMRI design and data analysis. Because this is a lab class, seats will be limited so sign-up early.

                Best regards.

PSY692: fMRI Design and Analysis

This course introduces students to the design of fMRI experiments and fMRI data analysis using both lectures and hands-on exercises. Covered topics include a short introduction to MR physics, block designs, rapid-event related designs, data preprocessing, and standard analyses using the general linear model. If time permits, functional connectivity analysis and multivariate pattern analysis will also be covered. Basic knowledge of inferential statistics is required.
