The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at The University of Arizona invites applications for multiple tenured or tenure-track faculty appointments at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks.

We expect to hire at least six faculty members during the calendar year 2015.

The ECE Department is currently building a Research Center on "Cognitive Sensing, Processing, and Security" and the anticipated hiring will be related to this theme. We seek candidates with demonstrable interest in this application domain and technical expertise complementary to current departmental strengths. Applications are solicited from candidates with  research expert ise related to the Center's theme, in the areas of cybersecurity, wireless communications and networking, compressive sensing, big data analytics, optical sensing/imaging, RADAR systems and signal processing, and high performance/embedded computing. Outstanding candidates in areas not explicitly mentioned are encouraged to apply if their area of expertise can contribute to the theme of the center .
