Emerging IT Leaders Program Details:

The Emerging IT Leaders Program (EITLP) is a three-year IT rotational program for recent graduates. Participants will have two rotating job assignments of 18 months each to be completed in two different IT departments. The initial program will be for a cohort of five and will run June 2016 – June 2019. There are three career tracks: Data, Education and General IT. Program members lead by doing—gaining real-world experience by working on important and challenging initiatives alongside some of the brightest minds.  As a pipeline for future IT leaders, EITLP participants will receive a tailored blend of professional and leadership development including full tuition, giving participants an opportunity to earn their master’s degree for free.

 

Candidate Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, math, statistics, and education is preferred — additional degrees and majors may be applicable. Degrees must be conferred by June 1, 2016. 
  • Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA.
  • Less than 1 year between their most recent graduation and the start of the EITLP.
  • Less than 1 full year of professional full-time work experience (this does not include internships and/or co-ops completed while in school, or prior military experience).
  • Prior internships or relevant work experiences.
  • Passion and aptitude for technology.
  • Solid technical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
