CSL Student Conference Call for Abstracts

Priority: No
College Calendar: Show

Dear students and postdocs,

We are looking for exceptional graduate students and postdocs to speak at the 14th Annual Coordinated Science Laboratory (CSL) Student Conference, scheduled for February 6-8, 2019 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The conference includes an opening plenary talk, technical sessions with keynote speakers from both academia and industry, invited speakers from other top universities, as well as student presentations from UIUC. There is also a poster session for those not wishing to present a talk, and a robotics session for researchers who wish to provide a live demonstration. Awards will be given to best presenters.

The conference includes sessions on machine learning theory and algorithms, machine learning in hardware, decision and control, and artificial intelligence in action. CSL is a multi- and inter-disciplinary research community and as such we invite and encourage abstract submissions from any topic related to the ones listed on the attached flyer.

More information, as well as abstract submission page, can be found at https://studentconference.csl.illinois.edu. If you would like to give a 15-20 minute talk at our conference, provide a robotics demonstration, or present a poster, please apply by submitting an abstract by November 25, 2018.  Don’t miss out this excellent opportunity for you to showcase your research and meet top researchers and students!

Registration for the conference will also soon be up.  Please feel welcome to contact Amish Goel (agoel10@illinois.edu) or Charbel Sakr (sakr2@illinois.edu) with comments or questions about the conference.

Best,

The CSLSC organizing committee
