AMD Research internships on virtual memory of heterogeneous systems

AMD Research is seeking  internship candidates to conduct research on virtual memory subsystem of heterogeneous systems. The research will explore enhancements to both the hardware and the system software for efficient unified virtual addressing in heterogeneous systems.  There are open positions for both Spring 2016 and Summer 2016. Candidates pursuing MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar discipline is preferred. Following skill set is desirable for the position:

·         Knowledge about OpenCL and GPU architecture.

·         Basic understanding of  virtual memory subsystem. 

·         Experience in Linux kernel/driver development is a plus. 

·         Experience in hardware performance counter measurement is a plus.

Research results from internships at AMD Research often appear in reputed conferences.
