RA position available

An RA position is available in the group of Prof. Rokhinson. The project involves development of fast charge detection at cryogenic temperatures in order to study excitations in topological superconductors. The project is a part of a larger Quantum Science Center effort to realize and detect Majorana fermions, and to built a topologically protected qubit. Course background and some lab experience in condensed matter physics is expected, familiarity with rf electronics will be beneficial.
